I am grateful for: being able to "what a pleasure" the shit out of what life throws at us

One of my favorite kabbalistic teachings is the concept of: “What A Pleasure.” This teaching explains that with any thing that life throws at us- any pain, challenge, hardship, obstacle or even blessing- we respond by saying “what a pleasure.” By saying this simple phrase, we are able to adopt a new mindset and change our perspective on any given situation or experience. Of course, we should allow ourselves to feel the feelings that come, but instead of reacting in our typical reactive fashion, we can pause and rewrite the story. Instead of feeling lack, fear or victimizing ourselves, “what a pleasure” allows us to understand that the experience coming into our life is happening for a reason to teach us something and to help us grow. The pleasure is not in the actual pain itself, but the pleasure is in the opportunity to turn that “darkness” into “light.” I encourage myself and all of you to “what a pleasure” the shit out of every thing that comes your way today and every day.
